3" Residential Latch. All components are made of stainless steel. The latch does not rust over time as paint is worn off by bar hitting receiver. This latch is non-handed, and can be converted easily in the field to either side of gate. For use on walk gates.

Often imitated, this latch is a favorite! Sometimes referred to as a "hatchet latch", it has a spring loaded "clicker" and positive latching design to prevent "bounce outs", for secure latching. Clicker is held on with screws fitted with NYLOK BLUE PATCH. All components are aluminum except for the fasteners. Fits on all posts and gate frames 1 3/4" and larger. Integral gate pull built into bracket at gate side.
